The Spring 2010 US Remodeling Sentiment Report is out and it is good news for both homeowners and builders/remodelers. Americans are excited again about the remodeling plans for their homes - in fact that sentiment is at an all-time high of 54%. Additionally, the number of homeowners planning to remodel has increased to 13% and reflects a strong trend upwards, boding well for 2010 and beyond. If you are on the fence about your plans for your home, you may be moved by the fact that building materials and associated remodeling costs are now averaging about 20% lower than 2006....of course this won't last as the coming upswing will surely increase costs.
